The Miami Heat invade the Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
The Heat will be aiming for a third straight win after sneaking past the Wizards in a 114-111 road win on Saturday night. Goran Dragic led the scoring with 22 points, Hassan Whiteside added 18 points with 18 rebounds while four more players finished in double figures in scoring as the Heat took down the Wizards in a shootout. As a team, the Heat came into the game ranked third in the league in points allowed, but they could do little to stop the Wizards' John Wall and Bradley Beal who both finished with a season-high 34 points each, so it's encouraging to see the Heat win with their offense for once. Despite the win, Miami are still only 4-8 overall and 2-3 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Sixers really struggled at the start of the season, but they've won three of their last six games and will be aiming for a second straight win after beating the Suns in a 120-105 rout on Saturday. Joel Embiid led the team with a career-high 26 points in just 20 minutes, Nik Stauskas drained five 3-pointers en route to a season-high 21 points off the bench while four more players finished in double figures as the Sixers took full advantage of a struggling Suns team playing the second night of a back-to-back set. With the win, Philadelphia improves to 3-10 overall and 3-5 at home.
In ATS trends, the Heat are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record, while the Sixers are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the Heat are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Philadelphia and the road team is 18-7-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings overall.
The Sixers are coming off a rare blowout win over the Suns but I don't think that winning feeling will last long as I have the Heat winning this one, especially given how much success they've had ATS when playing the Sixers.
