The Detroit Pistons travel to the Spectrum Center to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.
The Pistons bounced back from four straight losses with two wins on the trot, but playing a road game on the second night of a back-to-back set proved too much in Saturday's 106-88 blowout loss to the Thunder. All five starters finished in double figures with Tobias Harris leading the way with 21 points, but the Pistons shot just one of 19 from the 3-point line and nobody could contain the Thunder's Russell Westbrook who finished with yet another triple-double. With the tough loss, Detroit falls to 8-10 overall and 1-8 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Hornets will be aiming for a third straight win in four nights after blowing past the Grizzlies by 104-85 last night. Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb led the team with 21 points each while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 14 points as the Hornets cruised in a game where they led by as many as 23 points. With the win, Charlotte improves to 10-7 overall and 5-3 on the road where they had lost two straight before last night.
Looking at the betting trends, the Pistons are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games, while the Hornets are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five against the Eastern Conference and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Pistons are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Charlotte.
The Pistons were gaining a bit of momentum before their loss at Oklahoma City so they'll be aiming to bounce back in this one, but they've been poor on the road all season so it's hard to back them against a Hornets team looking for their third straight win.
