The Houston Rockets invade the Vivint Smart Home Arena to battle the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.
The Rockets are really starting to heat up with five wins in their last six outings including a 130-114 win at Portland on Sunday. James Harden dominated the offense with 38 points and 10 assists, Eric Gordon provided the spark off the bench with 26 points while Clint Capela chipped in with 21 points as the Rockets pulled away from a tight contest with a 34-21 fourth quarter. As a team, the Rockets shot a healthy 56.1 percent from the field and 17 of 36 from the 3-point line. With the win, Houston improves to 11-6 overall and 7-4 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Jazz will be aiming for a fourth straight win after last night's 112-103 win at Minnesota. George Hill and Gordon Hayward led the offense with 24 points apiece, Rudy Gobert had a big double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds while Trey Lyles chipped in with 13 points as the Jazz escaped Minnesota with a hard earned victory to improve to 10-8 on the season and 6-5 on the road where had lost two straight before last night.
Looking at the betting trends, the Rockets are 6-0 ATS in their last six road games and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Jazz are 19-9-1 ATS in their last 29 games playing on zero days rest and 5-17 ATS in their last 22 games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Rockets are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the Home team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings.
It's going to be an interesting contest between two contrasting styles tonight, but I'm going to have to give the edge to the Rockets who have been in better form and will have the advantage of playing this one on one days rest compared to the Jazz who played just last night.
