The Los Angeles Clippers take the floor with the Portland Trail Blazers in NBA action on Sunday.
The Portland Trail Blazers are looking for another win when the team takes the hardwood with the Los Angeles Clippers. Portland comes off of a 106-101 victory versus the Toronto Raptors where a sizeable lead barely held up against a 4th period rally by the Raptors. The Trail Blazers won the shooting battle 42.7%-40% with both teams connecting on 27 long balls but 14 more looks at the basket was the difference maker. The balanced Blazers attack featured five double digit scorers with Damian Lillard leading the pack with 16 points and eight assists on 5-14 shooting with CJ McCollum adding 15 points on 5-11. The twosome of Jusuf Nurkic and Anthony Morrow tossed in 12 points apiece while Pat Connaughton chipped in with ten.

The Los Angeles Clippers have another win in their sights when the team faces the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Los Angeles turned to their defense in downing the Toronto Raptors 98-84 last time out but the offense lacked some consistency. The Clippers built a monster lead heading in to the final 12 minutes which was key when the team suddenly lost the shooter's touch with only ten points scored. Toronto was held to just 38.4% while the LAC burned the nets at nearly 48% despite the late scoring woes. Blake Griffin led the Los Angeles attack with 17 points on 6-11 from the floor with DeAndre Jordan tossing in 15 points and snagging a team high eight rebounds. Willie Reed gave Los Angeles 12 points followed by an eleven point effort from Danilo Gallinari.
Trail Blazers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Sunday games and Trail Blazers are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win and over is 4-1-1 in Trail Blazers last 6 overall. Over is 5-0 in Clippers last 5 games playing on 3 or more days rest and Clippers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and Clippers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Sunday games. Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings in Los Angeles.
The Trail Blazers have been the better team in their first two preseason games, but they haven't had to play on the road yet. The Clippers are coming off a contest in which they were solid defensively and had three starters score double-digit points. I'll lay the bucket with the home team.
