The Detroit Pistons and the Milwaukee Bucks do battle at the Bradley Center on Wednesday night.
The Detroit Pistons have been on fire as they’ve won eight of their last nine games and they will be looking to extend their current five-game win streak after blowing past the Heat in a 112-103 home win on Sunday. Tobias Harris drained five three-pointers on his way to a team-high 25 points, Avery Bradley added 24 points while Reggie Jackson chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 48 percent from the field and 14 of 28 from the three-point line as they dominated the second half by 57-45 to pull away from the Heat in the second half. With the win, Detroit improved to 10-3 overall and an impressive 7-1 at home.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have rebounded from their four-game skid with three wins on the trot after sneaking past the Grizzlies in a 110-103 home win on Monday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 27 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, John Henson and Khris Middleton added 17 points each while Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 15 points in his fourth game with his new club. As a team, the Bucks shot 49 percent from the field and 12 of 22 from the three-point line but they deserve a lot of credit for their defense, especially in the third quarter where they held the Grizzlies to just 12 points. With the win, Milwaukee improved to 7-6 overall and 4-3 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Pistons are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record, 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall. Meanwhile, the Bucks are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games against the Western Conference and 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings and the Pistons are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Milwaukee.
The Bucks have opened as slight favorites at home but their last two wins at home were narrow wins against the Lakers and the Grizzlies. Meanwhile, the Pistons have won five straight and they’ll be well prepared as they haven’t played since Sunday, so I’m going with the road team to pull off the minor upset in this one.
