The Chicago Bulls pay a visit to the Chesapeake Energy Arena to battle the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
The Chicago Bulls have lost six of their last seven games and they will be hoping to avoid a fifth straight loss after getting blown out by 133-94 at San Antonio on Saturday. Robin Lopez and Bobby Portis each scored 17 points while Kris Dunn added 15 points, but no other player finished in double figures. As a team, the Bulls shot 46 percent from the field and six of 23 from the three-point line, but they were always fighting an uphill battle after falling behind by 37-15 after the first quarter. With the loss, Chicago dropped to 2-9 on the season and 1-5 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be aiming for a third straight victory after taking down the Mavericks by 112-99 on Sunday. Russell Westbrook scored 27 points but shot just six of 18 from the field, but in the absence of Carmelo Anthony, Paul George stepped up and drained seven three-pointers on his way to 37 points. As a team, the Thunder shot 50 percent from the field and 15 of 32 from the three-point line as they poured in 39 points in the third quarter to pull away from the pesky Mavericks in the second half. With the win, Oklahoma improved to 6-7 on the season and 4-2 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games playing on three or more days’ rest. Meanwhile, the Thunder are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points and 6-1 ATS in their last seven Wednesday games.
Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings, the favorite is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.
This chalk is massive, and while the Bulls are horrible, there's a lot of injuries on both sides. The Bulls are going to be without four players for this game, while the Thunder are possibly without Adams and Carmelo. So, instead of playing with the massive chalk, I'm going to side with the under. The Bulls willl have a hard time putting the ball in the hoop, putting us under this decent sized total.
