The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls collide at the United Center on Monday night.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to build on their current 11-game win streak after sneaking past the Grizzlies in a 116-111 win on Saturday. LeBron James led the way with 34 points and 12 assists, Kevin Love added 20 points with 11 rebounds while JR Smith added 17 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 56 percent from the field and 11 of 24 from the three-point line but they really had to battle for the entire game as they blew a 19-point third quarter lead. Luckily, the Cavaliers turned to LeBron who scored or assisted on the team’s last 17 points to come away with the win and improve to 16-7 on the season and 8-4 at home.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls will take any win they can get as they will be hoping to snap an eight-game skid after falling to the Kings by 107-106 on Friday. Jerian Grant led the team in scoring with 17 points off the bench while Lauri Markkanen, Robin Lopez and Paul Zipser all finished with 14 points each. As a team, the Bulls shot 46 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the three-point line but on the defensive end, they just couldn’t find a way to stop the Kings’ veteran Zach Randolph who finished with a game-high 25 points on 12 of 19 shooting .With the loss, Chicago Bulls dropped to 3-18 overall and 2-7 at home where they’ve lost three straight.
Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games, 0-5 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five Monday games. Meanwhile, the Bulls are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team above .600, 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss and 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
Head to head, the road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings, the Cavaliers are 7-24 ATS in the last 31 meetings overall and 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings in Chicago.
The Cavaliers have been playing their best basketball of the season as they come into this game fresh off their 11th straight win. The Bulls will be eager to spoil the party as they’ve lost their last two games by one point, but I don’t see them being able to hang with the Cavaliers. With that being said, I think the Cavaliers get the double-digit win and I’m looking for Dwyane Wade to have a huge game against his former team.
