The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Brooklyn Nets duke it out at the Barclays Center on Thursday night.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have bounced back from their three-game skid with a three-game win streak after sneaking past the Jazz in a 100-94 home victory on Tuesday. Russell Westbrook led the way with a triple-double of 34 points, 13 rebounds and 14 assists, Paul George added 21 points while Steven Adams chipped in with an efficient 20 points on nine of 10 shooting. As a team, the Thunder shot 48 percent from the field and just four of 18 from the three-point line but they did their damage in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Jazz by 32-14 to overcome a 17-point deficit. With the impressive win, Oklahoma City improved to 11-12 overall and 9-3 at home.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have lost five of their last eight games but they will be looking to build on Monday’s 110-90 blowout win at Atlanta. Caris LeVert led the way with 17 points and six assists off the bench, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added 16 points while Spencer Dinwiddie and DeMarre Carroll chipped in with 13 points each. As a team, the Nets shot 48 percent from the field and 15 of 36 from the three-point line as they battled tooth and nail with the Hawks in the first half before blowing them away with a 57-36 second half. With the win, Brooklyn improved to 9-14 on the season and 5-8 on the road.
Looking at the betting trends, the Thunder are 0-7 ATS in their last seven road games, 16-6 ATS in their last 22 games against a team below .400 and 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall. Meanwhile, the Nets are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 home games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall.
Head to head, the over is 9-4-1 in the last 14 meetings and the road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
The Nets looked surprisingly good in their big win over the Hawks on Monday, but it’s hard to get too excited about beating the Hawks these days. Meanwhile, the Thunder look to be gaining some momentum as Westbrook returns to triple-double form. The Thunder have failed to cover in each of their last seven road games, but I think they’ve been playing well enough to buck that trend with a big win here behind another triple-double from Westbrook.
