The Milwaukee Bucks play host to the Toronto Raptors at the Bradley Center on Friday night.
The Toronto Raptors will be aiming for a fourth straight win after blowing past the Bulls in a 124-115 road win on Wednesday. DeMar DeRozan poured in 18 points in the third quarter to finish with 35 points and six assists, Serge Ibaka and Kyle Lowry scored 16 points apiece. As a team, the Raptors shot 49 percent from the field and 15 of 38 from the three-point line as they came back from an early double-digit deficit to come out on top in one of their best road wins of the season. The Raptors’ bench really came up big thanks largely to Dorell Wright who finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists while shooting 10 of 15 from the field. With the win, Toronto improved to 26-10 overall and 12-9 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have won five of their last eight games and they will be looking to build on Wednesday’s 122-101 home win over the Pacers. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 31 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Khris Middleton added 27 points while Malcolm Brogdon chipped in with 17 points and five assists off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot a sizzling 58 percent from the field and nine of 17 from the three-point line as they poured in 34 points in the first quarter and never looked in danger after jumping out to an early double-digit lead. With the win, Milwaukee improved to 20-16 overall and 13-6 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven against the Eastern Conference, 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Bucks are 7-0-1 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record, 3-1-1 ATS in their last five home games and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the road team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings, the under is 6-0 in the last six meetings in Milwaukee and the Raptors are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in Milwaukee.
The Bucks have been playing well lately and they really put it all together in their big win over the Pacers, but the Raptors have really gotten hot over the last few games which is why they’re now sitting pretty in second place in the Eastern Conference standings. It’s hard to split these two teams but the Raptors have covered in six of the last eight meetings and that’s good enough for me in a pick 'em situation.
