The Washington Wizards and the Indiana Pacers duke it out at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday night.
The Washington Wizards have been on a bit of a tear lately as they’re now aiming for their fifth straight win after blowing past the Magic in a 115-98 road win on Saturday. Otto Porter Jr. led the team in scoring with 20 points and five assists, Tomas Satoransky added 19 points and six assists on seven of nine shooting while Bradley Beal chipped in with 18 points and eight assists. As a team, the Wizards shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and seven of 26 from the three-point line as they dominated the Magic for three quarters to lead by as many as 23 points before resting a few starters in the fourth quarter. With the loss, Washington dropped to 30-22 overall and 13-13 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have won six of their past eight games and they will be looking to build on Saturday’s 100-92 home win over the 76ers. Bojan Bogdanovic and Victor Oladipo each scored 19 points while Lance Stephenson chipped in with 14 points and four assists off the bench. As a team, the Pacers shot 44 percent from the field and nine of 27 from the three-point line but you can credit this win to their defensive effort as they held the 76ers to just 17 points in the fourth quarter to come out on top. With the win, Indiana improved to 30-24 overall and 19-10 at home where they have won six in a row.
Looking at the betting trends, the Wizards are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games following a win, 4-0 ATS in their last four games against the Eastern Conference and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. Meanwhile, the Pacers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and 12-1 ATS in their last 13 Monday games.
Head to head, the road team is 21-5 ATS in the last 26 meetings, the over is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings and the Wizards are 8-0 ATS in the last eight meetings in Indiana.
The Wizards have really been playing well despite the injury to Wall, but the Pacers are getting healthy and are finally starting to string together some wins, especially at home where they are currently riding a six-game win streak. The Wizards have covered in each of their last eight games in Indiana but you just get the feeling that it's only a matter of time before the loss of Wall catches up to them., so I'm actually going with the Pacers to get the win and cover at home.
