The Chicago Bulls play host to the Boston Celtics at the United Center on Monday night.
The Boston Celtics have been in decent form lately as they were able to reel off four straight wins before falling to the red-hot Rockets in a 123-120 road loss on Saturday. Marcus Morris led the team in scoring with 21 points, Kyrie Irving added 18 points with six assists but shot just six of 17 from the field while Greg Monroe and Terry Rozier added 18 and 17 points respectively. As a team, the Celtics shot 48 percent from the field and 13 of 24 from the three-point line as they really took it to the Rockets to lead by six points late in the fourth quarter until the Rockets went on a decisive 10-2 run to take the lead late in the game. With the loss, Boston dropped to 44-20 overall and 21-9 on the road where they have won three of their last four.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in terrible form as they’ve lost 13 of their last 16 games but they will be feeling pretty good after snapping a five-game skid with a 108-100 home win over the Mavericks on Friday. Bobby Portis led the team with 22 points off the bench, Kris Dunn added 18 points with seven assists, Lauri Markkanen scored 17 points while Zach LaVine chipped in with 16 points and six assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 47 percent from the field and 10 of 27 from the three-point line as they outscored the Mavericks by 30-15 in the fourth quarter after trailing by as many as 14 points in the third quarter. With the win, Chicago improved to 21-41 overall and 14-17 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Celtics are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record, 24-9 ATS in their last 33 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Meanwhile , the Bulls are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games following a win, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 3-12 ATS in their last 15 games overall.
Head to head, the under is 20-8 in the last 28 meetings in Chicago and the Celtics are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.
The Bulls have been one of the worst teams in the league lately and they really have nothing to play for with the playoffs just around the corner. With that being said, the Celtics have been in solid form and they have their eye on that top seed in the Eastern Conference, so I expect them to come out firing and cruise to a double-digit win after missing out against the Rockets on Saturday.
