The Memphis Grizzlies pay a visit to the United Center to battle the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.
The Memphis Grizzlies have been mired in a major slump and they will be looking to snap an ugly 14-game losing streak after falling to the Spurs in a 100-98 road loss on Monday. Marc Gasol led the team with 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Dillon Brooks added 21 points while JaMychal Green chipped in with 14 points, 15 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 52 percent from the field and eight of 22 from the three-point line as they fell just short despite playing on the second night of a back to back set. With the loss, Memphis dropped to 18-45 overall and 5-25 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have lost six of their last seven games and they will be looking to bounce back after getting blown out by the Celtics in a 105-89 home loss on Monday. Danzel Valentine led the team with 20 points off the bench while Lauri Markkanen chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Bulls shot just 39 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the three-point line but they just couldn’t match it with the Celtics who outscored them by 55-29 in the first half despite missing their best player in Kyrie Irving. With the loss, Chicago dropped to 21-42 overall and 14-18 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games against a team with a losing home record and 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games. Meanwhile, the Bulls are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record, 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games following a loss and 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
Head to head, the under is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Chicago, the road team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings and the Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Chicago.
You really couldn’t bet your money on either team with much confidence, especially at this stage of the season where tanking is always a factor. The Grizzlies almost pulled off the upset against the Spurs which is a positive sign but there is no ignoring their 14 straight losses, so without too much confidence, I’m leaning towards the Bulls to get the win and cover at home.
