The New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks duke it out at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
The New York Knicks have been in terrible form as they’ve lost 13 of their last 14 games and they will be hoping to snap a five-game skid after falling to the Trailblazers in a 111-87 road loss on Tuesday. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the team with 19 points, Enes Kanter added 18 points with 11 rebounds while Michael Beasley chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Knicks shot 42 percent from the field and seven of 19 from the three-point line but while they were able to hang around in the first half, they just couldn’t keep up in the second half where they were outscored by 54-35. With the loss, New York dropped to 24-41 overall and 8-27 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in a slump themselves as they’ve lost six of their past seven games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight loss after Wednesday’s 110-99 home loss to the Rockets. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 30 points on 12 of 20 shooting, Khris Middleton added 18 points with 12 rebounds and five assists, while Eric Bledsoe and Sterling Brown each scored 15 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 28 from the three-point line as they just couldn’t really get into the contest after falling behind by as many as 16 points in the second quarter. With the loss, Milwaukee fell to 34-31 overall and 20-14 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Knicks are 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games, 3-15 ATS in their last 18 games against a team with a winning record and 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games overall. Meanwhile, the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team below .400, 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Head to head, the under is 5-1 in the last six meetings and the underdog is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
The Bucks have been in a bit of a form slump lately but that’s nothing compared to the Knicks who just haven’t been able to buy a win lately. Furthermore, the Knicks have been especially bad against teams with winning records as they’re just 3-15 ATS in their last 18 games against teams above .500. The Knicks have lost four of their last five games but nine points or more and I think that trend continues in this one as the Bucks win easily.
