The Milwaukee Bucks pay a visit to the slumping Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum on Monday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks have been in rough shape as they’ve lost six of their last eight games but they will be feeling a little better after snapping a two-game skid with a 120-112 win over the Knicks on Friday. Khris Middleton led the team in scoring with 30 points on 11 of 16 shooting, Giannis Antetokounmpo added 28 points with 10 rebounds and five assists while John Henson chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 56 percent from the field and eight of 18 from the three-point line but they really had to battle all night against a slumping Knicks team who can’t buy a win these days. With the scrappy win, Milwaukee improved to 35-31 overall and 21-14 at home.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have just been in a world of hurt as they will be aiming to snap a 17-game losing streak after getting blown out by the Mavericks in a 114-80 road loss on Saturday. Dillon Brooks led the team with 17 points, JaMychal Green added 14 points while Ben McLemore chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot just 35 percent from the field seven of 18 from the three-point line but this game was over in a hurry as the Grizzlies were already trailing by 26 points going into halftime. With the win, Memphis fell to 18-48 overall and 5-27 on the road.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 5-11-2 ATS in their last 18 games against a team with a losing record, 0-6 ATS in their last six against the Western Conference and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games overall. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the home team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings, the under is 10-3-1 in the last 14 meetings and the Bucks are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Memphis.
Marc Gasol was rested for the team’s last game but he is expected to return in this game which is obviously a big boost for the Grizzlies. With that being said, the Grizzlies have just been so poor lately, so while the home team has covered in six of the last seven meetings, I have to go with the Bucks to get the win and cover as there’s just too much on the line in terms of playoff seeding to allow this game to slip.
