The Indiana Pacers and the Philadelphia 76ers collide at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday night.
The Indiana Pacers have been in fine form as they’ve won nine of their last 12 games and they will be gunning for a third straight win after escaping Boston with a 99-97 win on Sunday. Victor Oladipo led the team with 27 points and four assists, Myles Turner continued his nice form with a double-double of 19 points with 10 rebounds and three blocks while Bogdan Bogdanovic chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 22 from the three-point line as they dominated the third quarter by 34-20 to escape with the narrow win after trailing by 10 points at halftime. There was an element of luck though as the Celtics did lose Kyrie Irving at halftime due to an ongoing knee issue. With the win, Indiana improved to 39-28 overall and 16-16 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers are steadily gaining momentum towards the playoffs as they’ve won four of their last six games and they will be looking to build on Sunday’s 120-97 win at Brooklyn. Joel Embiid led the team with 21 points in 26 minutes of action, Robert Covington added 19 points with four assists while Dario Saric chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 52 percent from the field and nine of 26 from the three-point line but they were always in control of this game as they jumped out to an early double-digit lead which they held for most of the game. With the win, Philadelphia improved to 36-29 overall and 16-19 on the road.
Looking at the betting trends, the Pacers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Meanwhile, the 76ers are 35-17 ATS in their last 52 home games, 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points.
Head to head, the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings, the over is 6-0 in the last six meetings in Philadelphia and the Pacers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall.
The Pacers have been in great form and they are coming into this game full of confidence after taking down the Celtics in their last outing but the 76ers have been playing pretty well themselves and they’re always tough to beat at home where they’ve covered in 35 of their last 52 games. These two teams are really tough to split at the moment but the Pacers did beat the 76ers by 100-92 back on Feb 3 in the most recent meeting and I think they can pull it off again. You could make an argument for either side here, but I'll take the Pacers with the points in a high scoring affair.
