The Phoenix Suns pay a visit to the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center on Friday night.

The Phoenix Suns have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 23 of their last 24 games and they will be hoping to snap a 13-game skid after falling to the Clippers in a 111-99 loss on Wednesday. Tyler Ulis led the team with 23 points on nine of 16 shooting, Josh Jackson added 18 points with five assists while Shaquille Harrison chipped in with 17 points and four assists off the bench. As a team, the Suns shot 43 percent from the field and 10 of 34 from the three-point line but they really did look like they were going to pull off the major upset against the Clippers until the fourth quarter where they were outscored by 26-17. With the loss, Phoenix fell to 19-57 overall and 9-29 at home.

USA TODAY Sports

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been on an absolute tear as they’ve won 27 of their last 28 games and they will be gunning for an 11th straight win after blowing past the Bulls in a 118-86 home win on Tuesday. Eric Gordon led the team with 31 points on 11 of 17 shooting, Trevor Ariza added 21 points while Gerald Green chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Rockets shot 44 percent from the field and 18 of 57 from the three-point line as they dominated the first half by 60-39 to put the game to bed early without their leader in James Harden who was rested for the night. With the easy win, Houston improved to 61-14 overall and 31-6 at home.

Looking at the betting trends, the Suns are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a winning record, 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a double-digit loss at home and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall. Meanwhile, the Rockets are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a losing road record and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 against the Western Conference.

Head to head, the road team is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings, the Suns are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and 19-7 ATS in the last 26 meetings in Houston.

These two teams have met three times this season with the Rockets winning on each occasion by double-digits and there’s little reason the Rockets won’t complete the sweep with another big win at home in this one. The Suns really took it to the Clippers in their last outing but with their roster so depleted, they didn't have the offense to hang for 48 minutes and I think that happens again in this one. The line seems massive but the Rockets have won their last three games by an average of 24.6 points and Harden is coming into this one well-rested, so I’m going with the league’s hottest team in a blowout.
