The two best teams in the Eastern Conference collide at the TD Garden as the Toronto Raptors battle the Boston Celtics on Saturday.

The Toronto Raptors have cooled off a little since their 11-game win streak as they’ve split their last six games but they will be looking to build on Tuesday’s 114-110 home win over the Nuggets. Jonas Valanciunas, DeMar DeRozan and Fred VanVleet each scored 15 points, Serge Ibaka scored 13 points while Kyle Lowry chipped in with 11 points and eight assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 51 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the three-point line as they battled the Nuggets for three tightly contested quarters until going on decisive 23-6 run in the fourth quarter to come away with the narrow win to improve to 55-20 overall and 31-7 at home.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been in great form lately as they’ve reeled off five straight wins after sneaking past the Jazz in a 97-94 road win on Wednesday. Jaylen Brown led the team with 21 points on six of 10 shooting, Jayson Tatum added 16 points while Aron Baynes and Terry Rozier each scored 13 points. As a team, the Celtics shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 21 from the three-point line as they battled the Jazz in a seesawing battle until the Celtics closed the final 2:25 with a 9-0 run to come away with the unlikely win. Kyrie Irving, Marcus Morris and AL Horford were all sidelined with injuries. With the win, Boston improved to 52-23 overall and 28-10 on the road.

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 0-7 ATS in their last seven games overall. Meanwhile, the Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record, 5-0 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a winning road record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings, the Raptors are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 5-11-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings in Boston.

Horford could be fit enough to return to the court after sitting out Wednesday's game and the same goes for Morris who plays a pivotal role off the bench. The Raptors haven't quite been at their best over the past couple of weeks but they did win the last meeting by 111-91 back on Feb 6 and they looked great in their narrow win over the Nuggets on Tuesday. You could make an argument for either side, but the Raptors are the healthier team and they will be well-rested as they haven't played since Tuesday so that's where I'm leaning in this one.
