The NBA preseason continues with the Miami Heat going on the road to face the Washington Wizards.
The Miami Heat opened their preseason slate with a 104-100 defeat at San Antonio. Miami defended well enough with the Spurs held to 43.5% shooting but the offense was an ice cold 36.8% from the floor which negated ten more looks at the basket.

Goran Dragic and Duncan Robinson each gave the Heat 12 points with Robinson logging five pulls followed by Dwayne Wade with ten points on 3-10 from the field.
The Washington Wizards were forced to overtime in a 124-121 loss to the NY Knicks in their preseason opener. Washington did not shoot the ball well at 41.2% but the Knicks were held to 43.8% which kept the game competitive.
Kelly Oubre Jr. topped the Wizards in the scoring column with 15 points and a team high eight rebounds on 5-14 followed by Jordan McRae with 14 points on 5-5 shooting. Washington received 13 points and six boards from Otto Porter Jr. on 4-7 with Tomas Satoransky adding 12 points while Bradley Beal and Jason Smith combined for 21 points.
