The Chicago Bulls play host to the Indiana Pacers at the United Center on Friday night.
The Indiana Pacers have won three of their last four games and they will be looking to stay hot after sneaking past the Knicks in a 107-101 road win on Wednesday. Domantas Sabonis led the team with 30 points on 12 of 12 shooting off the bench, Victor Oladipo added 24 points while Thaddeus Young chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 54 percent from the field and just six of 20 from the three-point line but in a tightly contested game, they were able to lean on Oladipo who scored 11 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter despite dealing with bronchitis.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have won just two of their first eight games of the season and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling to the Nuggets in a 108-107 overtime home loss on Wednesday. Zach LaVine led the team with 28 points and seven assists, Wendell Carter Jr. added a career-high 25 points with eight rebounds and five assists while Justin Holiday and Antonio Blakeney each scored 15 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 42 percent from the field and 16 of 34 from the three-point line but they still couldn’t hang on for the win despite leading by six points with three minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Looking at the betting trends, the Pacers are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games, 7-2 ATS in their last nine Friday games and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall. The Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the home team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings, the under is 11-4 in the last 15 meetings and the favorite is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings.
The Bulls will be kicking themselves as the game in the bag against the Nuggets before Paul Millsap spoiled the party with the game-winning putback with just 0.1 seconds left on Wednesday. The Pacers are a team on the rise at the moment and they’ve won three straight road games while covering in eight of their last 10 road games. I expect the Bulls to hang around, but I like the Pacers to pull away late for another win and cover on the road.
