The Cleveland Cavaliers play host to the Golden State Warriors at the Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been a little inconsistent lately as they’ve been dealing with injuries, but they’ve won four of their last six games and they were able to snap a two-game skid with a 128-111 road win at Atlanta on Monday. Stephen Curry drained six 3-pointers to lead the team with 30 points, Kevin Durant added 28 points on 10 of 13 shooting with eight assists while Klay Thompson chipped in with 27 points on 10 of 19 shooting. As a team, the Warriors shot a sizzling 58 percent from the field and 13 of 28 from the 3-point line as they made light work of the struggling Hawks after outscoring them by 34-17 in the first quarter. With the easy win, Golden State improved to 16-9 overall and 5-7 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t been travelling quite as well as they’ve lost seven of their last 10 games but they will be feeling pretty good after snapping a four-game skid with a 99-97 road win at Brooklyn on Monday. Jordan Clarkson led the team with 20 points, 11 rebounds and four assists off the bench, Tristan Thompson added a double-double of 19 points with 14 rebounds while Collin Sexton chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 43 percent from the field and a miserable four of 15 from the 3-point line but despite squandering an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Cavaliers were able to escape with the win thanks to the newly-acquired Alec Burks who scored a crucial dunk with 3.2 seconds left. With the win, Cleveland improved to 5-18 overall and 2-10 on the road.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 against the Western Conference.

Head to head, the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings, the Warriors are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Cleveland.

These two teams haven’t met since the NBA Finals but given how many changes the Cavaliers have had to go through, it is no surprise that the Warriors are still heavy road favorites in this one. Draymond Green will once again be sidelined with that toe injury but the Warriors won’t need him as the trio of Curry, Durant and Thompson should be more than enough to take care of business here. The Warriors are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Cleveland and I expect that trend to continue as the Warriors cruise in this one.
