The New York Knicks look for a nice home victory after splitting their last eight games. The New York Knicks are averaging 108.6 points on 43.6 percent shooting and allowing 114.9 points on 47.6 percent shooting. Tim Hardaway Jr. is averaging 22.1 points and three assists while Enes Kanter is averaging 14.9 points and 11.8 rebounds. The New York Knicks are allowing 36.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 46 rebounds per game. The New York Knicks have lost five of their last seven home games.
The Nets are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Saturday games, 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 0 days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Knicks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 vs. Eastern Conference. The Nets are 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings in New York and 0-6 ATS in the last 6 meetings. The over is 34-16-1 in Knicks last 51 Saturday games.
The Brooklyn Nets are coming off a surprsing win last night over the Toronto Raptors and will now be asked to win back to back games for the first time since early November. We've seen nothing to suggest the Nets are capable of such efforts. The New York Knicks are being outscored by 12.4 points in their last five games and have been horrible on both ends of the court. However, the Knicks have won five of the last six meetings against the Nets and do have the rest advantage here. I don't want to lay chalk with the Knicks, but I have little trust the Nets are capbale of putting together two winning performances in a row. I'm backing the Knicks based on history between these two sides.
