Bilbao could also use a victory here after losing four of their last five games. Bilbao is averaging 82.9 points on 53.2 percent shooting and allowing 83 points on 46.3 percent shooting. Axel Bouteille is averaging 17.7 points and 1.2 assists while Jaylon Bitemn is averaging 12.1 points and 1.2 rebounds. Tenerife has won eight of the last nine meetings against Bilbao, but that lone loss was in the last meeting of September of last year.
Both of these teams have played some rough basketball as of late and neither side has done much in their first two games back. You could argue Tenerife has looked better in its first two losses and the h2h history doesn’t hurt much either. However, Bilbao did take Joventut Badalona to overtime in its last time out and that offense seems to be making strides. Bilbao also beat the snot out of Tenerife the last time out, outscoring them in three of the four quarters and winning the game by 14 points. At the end of the day we have two struggling teams here, so laying points on either side doesn’t make me very comfortable.
