The San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers duke it out at the STAPLES Center on Tuesday night.

The San Antonio Spurs started their season with a couple of wins, but they’ve gone ice-cold with four straight losses after falling to the Jazz in a 130-109 blowout on Sunday. Keldon Johnson led the team with 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting, DeMar DeRozan added 19 points with four assists while Jakob Poeltl chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Spurs shot just 41 percent from the field and a miserable six of 19 from the 3-point line as they never looked threatening after a slow start had them trailing by 14 points going into halftime. Dejounte Murray had a night to forget as he finished with just four points on one of 13 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in great form so far as they’ve won five of their first seven games and they will be hoping to stay hot after taking down the Suns in a 112-107 road win on Sunday. Paul George led the team with 39 points on 15 of 24 shooting, Kawhi Leonard added 15 points while Nicolas Batum and Luke Kennard each scored 14 points. As a team, the Spurs shot 48 percent from the field and 17 of 29 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first half to lead by as many as 31 points, before holding on for the naritem win as the Suns rallied late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Spurs are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games following a loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a double-digit loss at home. The Clippers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on one days rest and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall.

LaMarcus Aldridge sat out his third straight contest with left knee soreness and is currently listed as questionable which is a shame for the Spurs who are just struggling right now. The Clippers are currently one of the hottest teams in the league and they just took down a red-hot Suns team. The betting trends favor the Spurs ATS here, but I’m sticking with the Clippers to stay hot with a win and cover over the shorthanded Spurs.
