The Utah Jaz invade the Fiserv Forum to do battle with the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

The Utah Jazz have been in decent form as they’ve split their first eight games but they will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after getting stopped by the Knicks in a 112-100 road loss on Wednesday. Jordan Clarkson led the team with 19 points on seven of 12 shooting off the bench, Donovan Mitchell added 18 points on eight of 23 shooting while Rudy Gobert chipped in wit 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks. As a team, the Jazz shot 44 percent from the field and 14 of 44 from the 3-point line as they looked set for a big win after taking a 12-point lead at halftime, but the Jazz simply had no answer for the Knicks who poured in 34 points in the third quarter to steal the momentum and the game.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in great form as they’ve won four of their last five games and they will be looking to build on a current three-game win streak after taking down the Pistons in a 130-115 home win on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 25 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Khris Middleton added 23 points with seven assists while Brook Lopez chipped in with 17 points and five assists. As a team, the Bucks shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and a sizzling 19 of 43 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 44 points in the first quarter, before blowing out the lead to as many as 34 points in a one-sided affair.

Looking at the betting trends, the Jazz are 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 games against a team with a winning record, 4-14-2 ATS in their last 20 games following a loss and 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Bucks are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win and 15-6 ATS in their last 21 Friday games.

Head to head, the over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall and the Jazz are 27-8 ATS in the last 35 meetings overall.

 The Jazz have been in a bit of a funk over their last couple of games and they will be particularly disappointed with their loss to the Knicks who they dominated for a half. The Bucks have been slow to start this season, but they look to be on a roll now with three wins in a item. The Jazz are 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 games against a team with a winning record and I think that trend continues as the Bucks should be too good here.
