The Sacramento Kings play host to the Toronto Raptors at the Golden 1 Center on Friday night.

The Toronto Raptors have been in terrible form to start the season as they’ve lost six of their first seven games and they will be looking to stop a three-game skid after falling to the Suns in a 123-115 road loss on Wednesday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 32 points on 11 of 21 shooting, Kyle Lowry added 24 points with nine rebounds and six assists while OG Anunoby chipped in with 20 points on eight of 10 shooting. As a team, the Raptors shot 49 percent from the field and 14 of 35 from the 3-point line as they just hung with the Suns before succumbing to a barrage of 3-pointers as the Suns drained 21 of 40 from the 3-point line. 

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kingshave been in decent form as they’ve split their first eight games and they will be looking to stay hot after outlasting the Bulls in a 128-124 home win on Wednesday. Richaun Holmes led the team with 24 points on 10 of 11 shooting, Marvin Bagley III added 21 points with 12 rebounds and two blocks, Harrison Barnes scored 20 points while Buddy Hield chipped in with 10 points on three of 15 shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 51 percent from the field and 14 of 37 from the 3-point line as they hung with the Bulls in a free-flowing game, before pulling away with 35 points in the fourth quarter. 

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a loss, 0-4 ATS in their last four road games and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Kings are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games against a team with a losing road record.

Head to head, the under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings overall, the Raptors are 6-13-1 ATS in the last 20 meetings in Sacramento and the Raptors are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Raptors just haven’t been able to find any momentum this season while the Kings have begun the season in decent shape, so we have two teams headed in opposite directions in this matchup. You get the feeling that the Raptors will turn their season around sooner rather than later, but the Raptors are only 6-13-1 ATS in the last 20 meetings in Sacramento and I think the Kings are good enough to get the win here.
