The Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks collide at the State Farm Arena on Monday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the form teams at this early stage of the season as they’ve won seven of their first 10 games, but they will be hoping to avoid a third straight loss in this one after getting stopped by the Nuggets in a 115-103 home loss on Saturday. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 39 points and six assists on 18 of 33 shooting, Dakota Mathias added 12 points with five assists while Dwight Howard chipped in with 11 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the 76ers shot just 41 percent from the field and 11 of 35 from the 3-point line, but the story of the night was that the 76ers were still able to put together a lineup despite missing so many players due to health and safety protocols.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks started their season with four wins in their first five games, but they’ve gone ice-cold as they’re now looking to snap a four-game skid after getting stopped by the Hornets in a 113-105 road loss on Saturday. Cameron Reddish led the team with 21 points off the bench, DeAndre Hunter added 20 points with eight rebounds while Trae Young chipped in with 15 points and 10 assists on five of 19 shooting. As a team, the Hawks shot just 37 percent from the field and 14 of 46 from the 3-point line as they fell victim to the Hornets’ LaMelo Ball’s first career triple-double. To add insult to injury, Young played through a mild wrist sprain and is currently wearing a wrist brace.

Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, 16-33-2 ATS in their last 51 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall. The 76ers were almost completely unrecognizable in their last outing, but you got to give it to them, they didn’t look too bad against the Nuggets on Saturday. The Hawks have really struggled after a hot start to the season, but you just know to expect a big bounce-back performance from Young after he was held to just 15 points in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets. The 76ers are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings in Atlanta and I think the Hawks and I think that trend continues here as the Hawks take full advantage here.
