The San Antonio Spurs invade the Chase Center to battle the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

The San Antonio Spurs have been in great form lately as they’ve won six of their past eight games and they will be aiming for a third straight win after blowing past the Trailblazers in a 125-104 road win on Monday. LaMarcus Aldridge led the team with 22 points on 10 of 17 shooting, Rudy Gay and Patty Mills each scored 21 points off the bench while DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 20 points and 11 assists. As a team, the Spurs shot 53 percent from the field and 15 of 33 from the 3-point line as they held a five-point lead after three tightly contested quarters, before finishing with a 38-22 fourth quarter flurry to win easily in the end.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in decent form this season as they’ve won seven of their first 13 games and they will be looking to build some momentum after edging out the red-hot Lakers in a 115-113 road win on Monday. Stephen Curry led the team with 26 points and seven assists, Kelly Oubre Jr. added 23 points, Eric Paschall scored 19 points in just 19 minutes off the bench while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 18 points on seven of 11 shooting. As a team, the Warriors shot 50 percent from the field and 12 of 37 from the 3-point line as they struggled for most of the game and trailed by as many as 19 points, before rallying behind their defense to hold the Lakers to just 21 points in the fourth quarter as they escaped with the much-needed win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Spurs are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games as an underdog. The Warriors are 19-39-1 ATS in their last 59 games following an ATS win and 16-34-1 ATS in their last 51 games as a home favorite.

The Spurs are finally in a nice groove after a slow start to the season and they will be full of confidence after blowing past the Trailblazers on Monday, while the Warriors will be looking to stay hot after taking down the Lakers in an impressive comeback win in their last outing. The Spurs are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games and the Spurs are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall, so I like them as the slight road underdog in this one.
