The Oklahoma City invade the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost three of their last four games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting routed by the Nuggets in a 119-101 road loss on Tuesday. Luguentz Dort led the team in scoring with 20 points on eight of 11 shooting, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 14 points with seven assists, Darius Bazley scored 12 points while Isaiah Roby chipped in with10 points, nine rebounds and four steals. As a team, the Thunder shot just 41 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line as they fell behind by 13 points going into halftime, before getting blown out in the third quarter where they fell behind by as many as 29 points.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the hottest teams in the league as they’ve won 11 of their first 15 games and they will be gunning for a sixth straight win after beating the Kings by 115-96 on Wednesday. Kawhi Leonard had the hot hand as he led the way with 32 points, five assists and six steals, Paul George added 19 points with seven rebounds and 12 assists while Nicolas Batum and Ivica Zubac each scored 11 points. As a team, the Clippers shot 47 percent from the field and 16 of 35 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with 36 points in the second quarter, before putting the clamps on defensively in the third quarter where they held the Kings to just 19 points to lead by as many as 22 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Thunder are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games playing on two days rest. The Clippers are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games against a team with a road record above .600.

Head to head, the under is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall and the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Los Angeles.

Here we have two teams headed in opposite directions so it’s no surprise that the Clippers are so heavily favored at home in this one. The Thunder aren’t without a chance as they’ve actually won five of their seven road games so far this season, but based on form, you have to stick with the Clippers to maintain their momentum with another easy win in this one.
