The Boston Celtics pay a visit to the Golden 1 Center to battle the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.

The Boston Celtics have been going through a rough patch lately as they’ve lost five of their last eight games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after outlasting the Warriors in a 111-107 road win last night. Jayson Tatum led the team with 27 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Kemba Walker added 19 points with five assists while Jaylen Brown chipped in with 18 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 46 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from early 11-point deficit to edge out the Warriors in a close finish. Ball handling was an issue as the Celtics committed 17 turnovers, but they took advantage of the smaller lineup of the Warriors and were constantly driving deep into the lanes and dishing out for the open 3-pointers.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in great form as they’ve won four of their past five games and they will be looking to stay hot after taking down the Pelicans in a 118-109 road win on Monday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 38 points and 12 assists, Harrison Barnes added 24 points on eight of 14 shooting, Richaun Holmes scored 17 points with 10 rebounds and six blocks while Buddy Hield chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Kings shot just 47 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line as they trailed by as many as 10 points in the third quarter, before taking over the game in the fourth quarter where they held the Pelicans to just 15 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Celtics are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 7-0 ATS in their last seven games playing on zero days’ rest. The Kings are 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall, the Celtics are 0-3-1 ATS in the last four meetings overall and the Celtics are 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Sacramento.

The Celtics haven’t been at their absolute best lately and they will once again be shorthanded as Marcus Smart will once again be out, but they looked great in last night’s win over the Warriors and will fancy their chances in this one. The Kings are starting to heat up now and they have the advantage of a home court and an extra days’ rest here. The Celtics are only 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Sacramento, but the Celtics are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games playing on zero days’ rest and I think they can keep that trend going with a narrow win here.
