The Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks meet Saturday in NBA action at the State Farm Arena.

The Indiana Pacers need a win after losing six of their last eight games. The Indiana Pacers are averaging 112.3 points on 47.4 percent shooting and allowing 111 points on 46.1 percent shooting. Malcolm Brogdon is averaging 21.7 points and four rebounds while Domantas Sabonis is averaging 21 points and 5.5 assists. TJ Warren is the third double-digit scorer and Myles Turner is grabbing 6.7 rebounds. The Indiana Pacers are shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc and 76.4 percent from the free throw line. The Indiana Pacers are allowing 38.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.5 rebounds per game.

The Atlanta Hawks need a win after losing five of their last six games. The Atlanta Hawks are averaging 112.8 points on 44.8 percent shooting and allowing 111.4 points on 45 percent shooting. Trae Young is averaging 26.6 points and 4.2 rebounds while John Collins is averaging 18.5 points and 7.8 rebounds. The Pacers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest. The under is 4-0 in Pacers last 4 overall. The under is 14-6 in Hawks last 20 overall. The Pacers are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Atlanta.

I’m not running to the window to bet either of these teams, but the Indiana Pacers have the rest advantage here and have played some of their best ball on the road. The Atlanta Hawks are on the end of a back to back and their defensive effort just isn’t getting it done. This is one of the tougher games for me to call in a while and I don’t have a real edge, but if forced to pick, I’d side with the Pacers because of the rest.
