The Utah Jazz play host to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Vivint Arena on Tuesday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers started the season on fire as they won eight of their first 10 games, but they’re suddenly looking to avoid a fifth straight defeat after falling short to the Pacers in a 118-113 road loss on Saturday. Tobias Harris led the team with 32 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, Tyrese Maxey added 24 points while Danny Green chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the 76ers shot just 42 percent from the field and 12 of 23 from the 3-point line as they struggled right from the start after allowing 70 points in the first half, before going behind by 20 points as the Pacers’ Justin Holiday scorched them for 27 points on nine of 11 shooting off the bench. The 76ers tallied just 16 assists as a team and no bench player scored more than eight points.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been in a bit of a rut themselves as they’ve lost four of their past five games and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting bounced by the Heat in a 111-105 home loss on Saturday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 26 points on eight of 19 shooting, Jordan Clarkson provided the spark off the bench with 25 points on eight of 17 shooting while Donovan Mitchell chipped in with 22 points, four assists and five steals. As a team, the Jazz shot just 41 percent from the field and 17 of 53 from the 3-point line as they fell behind by 10 points at halftime, before allowing the Heat to pour in 37 points in the third quarter to fall behind by 27 points which proved to be just too much to overcome as the Jazz cut the deficit to just four points with 14.5 seconds remaining.

Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a loss, 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall. The Jazz are 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record, 7-2 ATS in their last nine games playing on two days’ rest and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in Utah and the 76ers are 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.

The 76ers were on fire during their first 10 games of the season, but they’ve lost all four games since losing Joel Embiid to health and safety protocols even though they were able to have Tobias Harris back in the lineup. The Jazz have cooled off since their hot start to the season and they will be kicking themselves after a poor start cost them against the Heat on Saturday, so except them to come out firing in this one. I like the Jazz to win this one, but all of the 76ers’ losses during their four-game skid have been by single digits and I think that trend continues here as they hang around and get the cover.
