The Brooklyn Nets travel to the Staples Center to do battle with the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
The Brooklyn Nets have been in great form lately as they will be looking to build on their current five-game win streak after taking down the Lakers in a 109-98 road win on Thursday. James Harden led the team with 23 points and 11 assists, Joe Harris added 21 points on seven of 10 shooting while Kyrie Irving chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Nets shot 49 percent from the field and 18 of 39 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the shorthanded Lakers early and never looked threatened after taking a 64-53 lead into halftime. The Nets pushed the lead out to 25 points in the third quarter before easing off in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in terrific form lately as they’ve won five of their past six games and they will be looking to stay hot after taking down the surging Jazz in a 116-112 home win on Friday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 29 points on 10 of 24 shooting, Lou Williams added 19 points while Patrick Beverley and Marcus Morris each scored 17 points. As a team, the Clippers shot 48 percent from the field and 10 of 30 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start and led by as many as 15 points, before escaping in a close finish as the Jazz rallied late.
Looking at the betting trends, the Nets are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games, 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall.
