The Golden State Warriors pay a visit to the Phoenix Suns at the PHX Arena on Thursday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in decent form so far as they’ve managed to stay above .500 despite being shorthanded from day one. Stephen Curry has led the team with averages of 28.4 points per game and 6.0 assists per game, Andrew Wiggins is averaging 17.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, James Wiseman is averaging 11.9 points and 5.9 rebounds while Kelly Oubre Jr. is averaging 11.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. As a team, the Warriors are averaging 112.6 points per game while shooting 44.8 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from the 3-point line.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have really cooled off after quick start to the season as they’ve lost five of their last six games and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after falling just short to the Thunder in a 102-97 loss last night. Chris Paul led the team with 32 points and five assists, Jae Crowder added 17 points with seven rebounds and four assists while Abdel Nader chipped in with 12 points off the bench but no other player finished in double figures. As a team, the Suns shot just 37 percent from the field and 15 of 43 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates to an early 17-point lead, before going ice-cold in the second quarter where they managed just 10 points. Still, the Suns hung in the contest and were trailing by just one point late in the fourth quarter, but they went scoreless in the final 1:27 which cost them the game in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog, 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 games playing on zero days rest. The Suns are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games, 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games against a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest.

Head to head, the under is 6-0 in the last six meetings overall, the Warriors are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall and the Warriors are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Phoenix.

Devin Booker sat out last night’s game with a hamstring injury, but there’s a chance that he could return Thursday which would be a massive boost for the Suns who have struggled without his scoring. The Warriors have been in decent form lately and it’s encouraging to see that they’re not solely relying on the Stephen Curry too much as everyone has been chipping in. This one could go either way, but the Warriors are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Phoenix and I think they can pull off the minor upset against the stumbling Suns in this one.
