The Phoenix Suns play host to the Memphis Grizzlies at the PHX Arena on Monday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost three of their last four games and they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after last night’s 128-122 road loss to the Thunder. Ja Morant led the team with 22 points and seven assists, Dillon Brooks added 19 points while Jonas Valanciunas chipped in with 16 points, 14 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 51 percent from the field and seven of 22 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control of most of the game, leading by as many as 12 points in the third quarter, before collapsing in the fourth quarter where the Thunder exploded for 38 points to steal the game late.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been in terrific form as they’ve won eight of their past 10 games, but they will be looking to bounce back here after having their five-game win streak halted by the Pacers in a 122-111 home loss on Saturday. Devin Booker led the team with 20 points and seven assists, Dario Saric added 17 points off the bench while DeAndre Ayton and Mikal Bridges each scored 14 points. As a team, the Suns shot just 47 percent from the field and 12 of 31 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start with 33 points in the first quarter, before getting blown out in the third quarter where they were outscored by 35-20 to fall behind by 21 points. Chris Paul scored eight points with 10 assists but had a poor shooting night as he shot just two of 10 from the field.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as an underdog and 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. The Suns are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games, 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as a favorite and 35-16 ATS in their last 51 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall and the Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Grizzlies haven’t been at their best lately and they will be so disappointed with last night’s loss to the Thunder after leading by as many as 12 points late. The Suns have been in red-hot form and they were riding a five-game win streak before getting ambushed by the Pacers on Saturday. The Grizzlies are a streaky team that can beat anyone on their night, but they’re playing on zero days’ rest against a Suns team coming off a rare loss. The Suns are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games and I think that trend continues here as the Suns bounce back.
