The Milwaukee Bucks and the Washington Wizards collide at the Capital One Arena on Sunday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in rough shape as they’ve lost four of their last five games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting routed by the Knicks in a 113-98 home loss on Friday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Grayson Allen added 22 points while Jordan Nwora chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot just 40 percent from the field and 16 of 43 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 36 points in the first quarter to lea by as many as 19 points early, before getting completely outplayed in the second half where they managed just 35 points to allow the Knicks to run them over. Bobby Portis scored just six points on three of nine shooting while Pat Connaughton scored just five points on two of eight shooting.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in great form as they’ve won six of their first nine games and they will be hoping to stay hot after taking apart the Grizzlies in a 115-87 home win on Friday. Montrezl Harrell led the team with 18 points on seven of eight shooting off the bench, Bradley Beal added 17 points with seven assists while Daniel Gafford and Raul Neto each scored 15 points. As a team, the Wizards shot a sizzling 58 percent from the field and 10 of 25 from the 3-point line as they dominated this game from start to finish, taking a 15-point lead into halftime, before holding the Grizzlies to just 40 points in the second half to make it a blowout.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Wizards are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 games against a team with a losing record, 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 26-11-1 ATS in their last 38 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-0 in the last five meetings in Washington and the over is 8-0 in the last eight meetings overall.

The Bucks did well to keep their heads above water despite their long list of injuries, but it seems as though those injuries are starting to toll as they’ve lost four of their past five overall. The Wizards have quietly been one of the form teams in the Eastern Conference and they will take so much confidence from their massive win over a decent Grizzlies team. The Bucks got a nice performance of 22 points from Allen in their last game, but he has been added to the injury report and is listed as day to day. With that being said, I’m sticking with the Wizards to take advantage and come away with the win in this spot.
