The Miami Heat play host to the Phoenix Suns at the American Airlines Arena on Tuesday night.

The Phoenix Suns have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their past 10 games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after blowing past the depleted Lakers in a 111-94 home win on Sunday. Devin Booker led the team with 26 points, nine rebounds and four assists, DeAndre Ayton added 26 points on 10 of 13 shooting, while Chris Paul racked up a triple-double of 11 points with 10 rebounds and 13 assists. As a team, the Suns shot 48 percent from the field and nine of 32 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first half to lead by 15 points at halftime, before blowing the margin out to 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Lakers didn’t put up much of a fight without their two best players.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in a bit of a rut as they will be aiming to put an end to a three-game skid after falling short against the Pacers in a 109-106 overtime loss on Sunday. Bam Adebayo led the team with 29 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, Jimmy Butler added 21 points with 15 rebounds and seven assists while Duncan Robinson chipped in with 13 points and five assists. As a team, the Heat shot just 40 percent from the field and nine of 37 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from an 11-point deficit to force overtime, only to fall painfully short as the Pacers drained a trio of 3-pointers in the extra period to escape with the win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Suns are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 road games, 25-5 ATS in their last 30 games against a team with a winning record and 15-3 ATS in their last 18 games following a win of more than 10 points. The Heat are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the over is 6-0 in the last six meetings overall, the Suns are 6-21 ATS in the last 27 meetings overall and the Suns are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings in Miami.

The Suns don’t have a great record against the Heat in terms of betting trends as they are just 6-21 ATS in the last 27 meetings overall, but they are clearly the team in better form at the moment. The Heat are looking better every game as players continue to return to the lineup, but the Suns have been the more consistent team. It’s hard to split between these two squads, but I think the Suns represent decent value as the road underdogs here.
