The Atlanta Hawks invade the Golden 1 Center to do battle with the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.

The Atlanta Hawks have been in great form as they were riding a nine-game win streak before getting stopped in their tracks by the Clippers in a disappointing 119-110 road loss on Monday. Trae Young led the team with 28 points and eight assists, John Collins added 23 points on 10 of 14 shooting while Tony Snell chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Hawks shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 34 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first half to lead by as many as 22 points, before getting completely outplayed in the second half where the Clippers poured in 71 points behind the play of their second unit.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape lately as they’ve won three of their past four games and they will be looking to stay hot after taking down the Cavaliers in a 119-105 road win on Monday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 30 points and six assists on 13 of 23 shooting, Tyrese Haliburton added 28 points on 11 of 15 shooting, Buddy Hield scored 19 points while Richaun Holmes chipped in with 17 points, 16 rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Kings shot 54 percent from the field and 13 of 30 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 63 points in the first half, before holding the Cavaliers to just 17 points in the third quarter to push the lead out to 19 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record, 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games as a road favorite and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. The Kings are 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games, 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games as an underdog and 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 16-6 in the last 22 meetings overall, the Hawks are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Sacramento and the Hawks are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Hawks will be so disappointed that they blew a 22-point lead against the Clippers in their last outing, so you just know they’ll come out firing in this one. The Kings are building momentum with three wins in their last four games and Fox could be in for another big game after pouring in 30 points on Monday. I’m expecting a close one, but the Hawks are clearly the more consistent team in better form, so I’m taking them with the short line.
