The Oklahoma City Thunder play host to the Dallas Mavericks at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday night.

The Dallas Mavericks have been in stellar form as they’ve won 11 of their past 14 games and they will be gunning for a fifth straight win after last night’s 115-104 win over the Spurs. Kristaps Porzingis led the team with 28 points and 14 rebounds, Luka Doncic racked up a triple-double of 22 points with 12 rebounds and 12 assists while Josh Richardson chipped in with 12 points and four assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot 51 percent from the field and 13 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start, before taking over in the second half where they dominated the Spurs by 63-45 behind big nights from Porzingis and Doncic.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in decent form as they’ve won four of their past seven games and they will be looking to build some momentum after outlasting the Spurs in a 107-102 road win on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 33 points and eight assists on 11 of 19 shooting, Mike Muscala added 18 points off the bench while Luguentz Dort chipped in with 15 points and four steals. As a team, the Thunder shot 43 percent from the field and 12 of 40 from the 3-point line as they struggled early on and fell behind by 14 points, before flipping the game on its head in the second half where they held the Spurs to just 41 points to escape with the much-needed win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Mavericks are 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games against a team with a losing record, 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days’ rest and 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games overall. The Thunder are 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on three or more days’ rest and the Thunder are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a winning road record.

Head to head, the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings overall and the Mavericks are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.

The Mavericks have been one of the hottest teams in the league lately, while the Thunder are slowly building after a rough patch. The Thunder have the advantage of extra rest as they haven’t played in a week, but there’s just so much more to like about the Mavericks, especially with Porzingis coming into this one fresh off a 28-point performance. I expect the Thunder to hang around here, but I’m sticking with the Mavericks to continue their hot run with another win here.
