The New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks collide at the American Airlines Center on Friday night.

The New York Knicks have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their past seven games and they will be aiming to build on their current four-game win streak after taking down the Pelicans in a 116-106 road win on Wednesday. Julius Randle led the team with 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Alex Burks scored 21 points off the bench while Reggie Bullock chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Knicks shot 45 percent from the field and 17 of 33 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with 40 points in the third quarter, before holding the Pelicans to just 17 points in the fourth quarter to cruise to victory. RJ Barrett had a night to forget as he scored just six points on two of 10 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their past 10 games and they will be looking to stay hot after escaping Memphis with a 114-113 road win on Wednesday. Luka Doncic led the team with 29 points and nine assists, Kristaps Porzingis added 21 points on seven of 13 shooting while Dwight Powell chipped in with 12 points on six of seven shooting. As a team, the Mavericks shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 40 from the 3-point line as they trailed by nine points in the fourth quarter, before pulling off the miraculous comeback capped by Doncic who drained the circus shot game-winning push shot at the buzzer to steal the game late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Knicks are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record, 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 games overall. The Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a home favorite and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings overall and the Knicks are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Dallas.

The Knicks are coming into this game with plenty of momentum as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they’re definitely a chance of pulling off the upset with Randle currently in red-hot form. The Mavericks are also coming into this one with plenty of confidence following their buzzer-beating win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday, so they’re deserved favorites here. The Knicks are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Dallas and I’m expecting a close contest, so I’m taking any points I can get in this one.
