The Los Angeles Clippers travel to the Moda Center to do battle with the Portland Trailblazers on Friday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been in rough shape as they’ve lost three of their first four games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting thumped by the Cavaliers in a 92-79 home loss on Wednesday. Nicolas Batum and Reggie Jackson each scored 16 points, Paul George added 12 points while Ivica Zubac chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Clippers shot a miserly 35 percent from the field and nine of 41 from the 3-point line as they got off to a horrid start, scoring just 14 points in the first quarter to fall behind early, before getting blown out in the fourth quarter where they scored just 15 points. George shot just six of 20 from the field, Terance Mann finished with just seven points on three of nine shooting while Luke Kennard scored six points on two of nine shooting off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers have split their first four games so far and they will be looking to build some momentum after making light work of the Grizzlies in a 116-96 home win on Wednesday. CJ McCollum led the way with 25 points on eight of 21 shooting, Damian Lillard added 20 points with 10 assists while Jusuf Nurkic and Anfernee Simons each scored 17 points. as a team, the Trailblazers were a couple steps behind the Grizzlies in the first half, but the halftime speech must’ve been really good because the Trailblazers dominated from that point onwards, outscoring the Grizzlies by 65-39 in the second half to win easily in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, 20-6 ATS in their last 26 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 4-1 ATS in their last five games as an underdog. These two squads met on Monday and it was the Clippers who romped their way to a 116-86 win, but I think the Trailblazers get their revenge in this one.
