The Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs meet Friday in NBA preseason action at the AT&T Center. The Miami Heat look for another win to build on their 2-0 preseason record. The San Antonio Spurs look for a win after splitting their first two preseason games.

The Miami Heat are allowing 26.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 45.5 rebounds per game.

The San Antonio Spurs have lost four of their last seven preseason games. The San Antonio Spurs are averaging 108 points on 44 percent shooting and allowing 100 points on 40.7 percent shooting. Dejounte Murray is averaging 17 points and three rebounds while Bryn Forbes is averaging 15.5 points and 1.5 assists. Keldon Johnson is the third double-digit scorer and Doug McDermott is dishing one assist. The San Antonio Spurs are shooting 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 72.7 percent from the free throw line. The San Antonio Spurs are allowing 28.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 58.5 rebounds per game.

The Heat are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Friday games. The Spurs are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 41-17-1 ATS in their last 59 Friday games.

The Miami Heat are not a team I’m eager to bet against the preseason, as they’ve had a ton of success in these games, look really good and they play every game with the goal to win. With that said, the Heat are going to play rare back-to-back preseason games and this is a quick turnaround after playing in Houston last night extremely late. We could see the Heat rest a lot of key players after playing last night. I’ll lean Spurs here, but I’m not thrilled about it.
