The Utah Jazz play host to the Denver Nuggets at the Vivint Arena on Tuesday night.

The Denver Nuggets will be looking to bounce back in this one after having their two-game win streak halted by the Cavaliers in a shock 99-87 home loss last night. Nikola Jokic led the team with 24 points, 19 rebounds and three assists, Aaron Gordon and Will Barton each scored 12 points while Michael Porter Jr. chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Nuggets shot just 40 percent from the field and nine of 38 from the 3-point line as they fell behind early against the Cavaliers, and they just never got out of second gear. Porter Jr. shot just four of 14 from the field, Jeff Green shot just two of seven from the field, while Monte Morris finished with just two points.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have begun the season in fine form as they are now looking for a third straight win after taking down the Kings in a 110-101 road win on Friday night. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists, Rudy Gobert racked up 17 points with 20 rebounds, Mike Conley scored 17 points while Jordan Clarkson chipped in with 15 points off the bench. As a team, the Jazz shot just 41 percent from the field and 16 of 42 from the 3-point line as they struggled on offense and trailed by nine points in the first half, but they responded with 35 points in the third quarter before holding the Kings to just 21 points in the fourth quarter to win comfortably in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nuggets are 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. The Jazz are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games playing on three or more days rest, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.

Head to head, the over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings overall and the Nuggets are 4-12 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Utah.

The Nuggets were looking good after their first two wins of the season, but they laid an egg against the Cavaliers last night, so it’s hard to have too much confidence in them against a red-hot Jazz team who can always rely on their elite defense. The Nuggets win this one if it’s a high scoring game, but they’re playing on zero days’ rest while the Jazz haven’t played since Friday. Give me the Jazz to stay undefeated with another solid win in this one.
