The Boston Celtics play host to the Miami Heat at the TD Garden on Sunday night. 

The Miami Heat have been in decent shape as they’ve split their first eight games and they will be looking to build some momentum after last night’s 128-124 road win over the Wizards. Tyler Herro led the team with 31 points on 12 of 20 shooting, Jimmy Butler added 26 points with 10 rebounds and nine assists, Goran Dragic scored 21 points with five assists while Kelly Olynyk chipped in with 18 points and five assists. As a team, the Heat shot 49 percent from the field and 16 of 43 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 47 points in the first quarter, before holding the Wizards to just 15 points in the third quarter to lead by as many as 24 points before the Wizards rallied late to within four points in the end.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been in great form lately as they’ve won six of their past seven games and they will be gunning for a fifth straight win after taking down the Wizards in a 116-107 home win on Friday. Jayson Tatum led the team with 32 points on 14 of 27 shooting, Jaylen Bitemn added 27 points, 13 rebounds and five assists while Marcus Smart chipped in with 13 points and five assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 47 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they jumped out to a 19-point lead at halftime, before holding off a late charge from the Wizards as they managed just 20 points in the fourth quarter. 

Looking at the betting trends, the Heat are 17-5 ATS in their last 22 games against a team with a winning record, 9-4 ATS in their last 13 road games and 19-9 ATS in their last 28 games overall. The Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight Sunday games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall. 

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall and the Heat are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Boston.
