The Memphis Grizzlies invade the Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies have split their first four games, but they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting routed by the Trailblazers in a 116-96 road loss last night. Desmond Bane led the team with 19 points on seven of 12 shooting, Ja Morant added 17 points with nine rebounds and 10 assists, but no other player scored more than eight points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot a miserly 36 percent from the field and 17 of 50 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control early on as they took a six-point lead into halftime, before getting completely ambushed in the second half where they got outscored by 65-39. Jaren Jackson Jr. had a rough night as he scored just seven points on three of 13 shooting while DeAnthony Melton finished scoreless on zero of eight shooting.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have hit the ground running this season as they are now gunning for a fifth straight victory after taking down the Thunder in a 106-98 road win on Tuesday. Stephen Curry led the team with 23 points and four assists, Andrew Wiggins added 21 points, Damion Lee provided the spark off the bench with 20 points while Draymond Green chipped in with eight points, nine rebounds, eight assists and three steals. As a team, the Warriors shot 47 percent from the field and 14 of 40 from the 3-point line as they were slow get into their offense and quickly found themselves trailing by 11 points going into halftime. Fortunately, the Warriors regrouped and responded with a 33-17 third quarter to take control of the game and win easily in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as a road underdog and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record. The Warriors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games, 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as a favorite and 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record.

Head to head, the under is 20-7 in the last 27 meetings overall and the Grizzlies are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Golden State.

The Grizzlies were starting to look good as a healthy lineup, but their confidence took a real hit in last night’s blowout loss to the Trailblazers and they are just 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Golden State. The Warriors are continuing to win games despite Curry staying relatively quiet in the last two outings as other role players like Wiggins and Lee are stepping up. This should be a close one, but the Warriors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home game sand I think that trend continues here as Curry leads them to their fifth straight win.
