The Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets meet Tuesday in game five of the NBA West Playoffs at the Ball Arena.

The Portland Trail Blazers look for back-to-back wins to take a 3-2 series lead. The Portland Trail Blazers are averaging 115.5 points on 47.4 percent shooting and allowing 113 points on 45.9 percent shooting. Damian Lillard is averaging 30.8 points and 9.5 assists while CJ McCollum is averaging 21.3 points and 6.3 rebounds. Norman Powell is the third double-digit scorer and Jusuf Nurkic is grabbing 11 rebounds. The Portland Trail Blazers are shooting 40.4 percent from beyond the arc and 83.5 percent from the free throw line. The Portland Trail Blazers are allowing 38.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42 rebounds per game.

The Denver Nuggets look for a bounce back performance to take a key 3-2 series lead. The Denver Nuggets are averaging 113 points on 45.9 percent shooting and allowing 115.5 points on 47.4 percent shooting. Nikola Jokic is averaging 31 points and 11 rebounds while Michael Porter Jr. is averaging 15.3 points and 5.8 rebounds. Aaron Gordon is the third double-digit scorer and Austin Rivers is grabbing 2.8 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets are shooting 38.4 percent from beyond the arc and 78.2 percent from the free throw line. The Denver Nuggets are allowing 40.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43.8 rebounds per game.

The Trail Blazers are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Nuggets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 2 days rest. The over is 4-1 in Trail Blazers last 5 overall. The over is 4-1 in Nuggets last 5 overall. The Trail Blazers are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings.

It’s hard to get a feel for this series, as every game has been different and neither team has been able to find consistency. With that said, the Portland Trail Blazers looked extremely comfortable in game four with easily the best performance from either side yet in this series. We also have to start worrying about the Nuggets a bit, as Jokic is being asked to do a whole lot and there hasn’t been a player who has been able to consistently help him. If Lillard and others are able to to repeat anything close from game four, the Trail Blazers will head back home with a 3-2 lead. I’ll grab the free bucket.
