The Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks meet Thursday, July 1 in Game 5 of the NBA East Finals at the Fiserv Forum. The Hawks and Bucks square off in a crucial game with the series tied up at 2-2.

The Atlanta Hawks are averaging 105.9 points on 45.1 percent shooting and allowing 106.2 points on 45.4 percent shooting. Trae Young is averaging 29.8 points and 9.5 assists while John Collins is averaging 13.6 points and 8.6 rebounds. Bogdan Bogdanovic is the third double-digit scorer and Danilo Gallinari is grabbing 3.7 rebounds. The Atlanta Hawks are shooting 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 79.6 percent from the free throw line. The Atlanta Hawks are allowing 35.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.5 rebounds per game.

The Milwaukee Bucks are averaging 108.4 points on 45.7 percent shooting and allowing 102.9 points on 44.3 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.2 points and 12.7 rebounds while Khris Middleton is averaging 22.7 points and 4.7 assists. The Hawks are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The under is 7-1 in Hawks last 8 overall. The under is 8-2-1 in Bucks last 11 overall. The Hawks are 13-4 ATS in the last 17 meetings in Milwaukee and 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

It’s still a question if Trae Young plays in this game, so you should do your research before betting. However, what I do know is that Antetokounmpo is highly likely done for the remainder of the playoffs and that’s a major blow to these Bucks, obviously. The Bucks were already a hit or miss team that lacks a killer instinct, and now they’ll be without their best player and a two-time MVP. Whether Young plays or not, I have to lean toward the feisty Hawks that just find ways to surprise folks. Remember, the Hawks were up double digits without Young and with Giannis on the floor in game 4. The Bucks just don’t have a second gear to finish teams in impressive fashion.
