We Are D3 vs. Challenge ALS
July 16, 2021 7:00 pm EDT

Challenge ALS and We Are D3 open up their TBT tournament with an opening-round game on Friday at Koch Arena. This is a winner take all tournament with the winning team taking home $1 million.

Team Challenge ALS is back for their fifth year of the TBT and they have a couple of very simple goals. Challenge ALS wants to win the tournament, and they want to raise awareness for ALS while doing it. This is a team that has a 10-4 record overall, and the hopes are high for this team. This is a team that is backcourt heavy and Jerome Randle and Justin Dentmon being the best players are on this team. This is a team that is coached by Darren Collison, and it’s all going to be about the scoring for them in this game. One big problem for this Challenge ALS team could be with their big man play, but if they get production out of that position, they should have no issue.

On the other side of this team is We Are D3 who have played two times in the TBT tournament, losing both of the games. Even though they lost both of the games, they almost were able to pull off the upsets in each of the games. This is a team that has a lot of players that came from a small school, but they have a lot of talent, but it’s going to take a true team effort for this team to get it done. Some of the key players for this team including Riley Hayes, Mike Pierre. and Eric Demers.

We Are D3 has been competitive each of the last two seasons, but this is a much tougher test against Challenge ALS. In this game, look for Team Challenge ALS to run up the score, and We Are D3 is going to have no answer. Back Challenge ALS to win this game and cover the spread.
