Of course, Cade Cunningham was this years first overall pick and many peg him as a future star in this league. Luka Garza was an absolute stud for the Iowa Hawkeyes and he put on a show throughout summer league. Jerami Grant has shown flashes of being more than just a quality role player and the addition of Kelly Olynyk brings experience and outside shooting. The Pistons are still in rebuild mode, but there’s a ton of talented youth on this roster and it may not be long before things start to take shape. It looks like the Pistons finally have a plan.

However, the Detroit Pistons are at home, it’s their first time taking the floor and there’s a lot of young, talented players eager to prove themselves and fighting for playing time. I like young teams in preseason play, because minutes on the table creates competition and produces results.
