When most think of the Utah Jazz they think of defense, but Vegas puts their totals too low. In the last preseason game, the Jazz gave up 120 points to the Bucks, and each of the last two games they have scored at least 124 points. The over is 9-2 in the Jazz last 11 games overall.
The New York Knicks are a very public team, and that helps explain why they are the favorite in this game. The Knicks roster is talented, but the core of the Celtics is back, and they are the better offensive team. The Knicks defense wasn’t as good in the preseason and the Celtics will cover the spread.

The Chicago Bulls were one of the busiest teams during the offseason bringing in key Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozen. The Bulls are going to be a team that will be competing in the Eastern Conference playoffs, and they open their season against a terrible Detroit Pistons team. The Pistons offense is going to have issues scoring, and the Bulls will cover the spread.
The Timberwolves are a team that wants to play quick and last year they didn’t have a whole lot of interest in playing defense. Look for the Wolves to score plenty and their defense to have issues stopping the Rockets. This game should get close to 240.
