The Memphis Grizzlies travel to the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies will be eager to get back to winning ways after having their two-game win streak halted by the Lakers in a tough 121-118 road loss on Sunday. Ja Morant led the team with 40 points and 10 assists on 13 of 21 shooting, Desmond Bane added 17 points, Steven Adams racked up 14 points with 16 rebounds and six assists while DeAnthony Melton chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 35 from the 3-point line as they rode the hot hand of Grizzlies to lead by as many as 10 points, before getting run down in the fourth quarter where the Lakers poured in 34 points. Jaren Jackson Jr. had a rough night as he scored just 12 points on three of 12 shooting while Kyle Anderson finished with just two points on one of eight shooting off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers have lost two of their first three games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting blown off the court by the Clippers in a 116-86 road loss on Monday. CJ McCollum led the team with 20 points and four assists, Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons each scored 12 points while Nassir Little chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Trailblazers shot just 38 percent from the field and eight of 37 from the 3-point line as they struggled right from the start and scored just 17 points in a cold first quarter, before getting blown out in the third quarter where they trailed by as many as 35 points. Lillard had a rough shooting night as he shot just four of 15 from the field and zero of eight from the 3-point line in a rare stat line.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as a road underdog and 15-7 ATS in their last 22 games against a team with a losing record. The Trailblazers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games as a home favorite.

The Grizzlies were looking like one of the form teams of the league before falling just short to the Lakers on Sunday, but they’re going to like their chances against a Trailblazers team who are coming into this one fresh off a 30-point loss to the Clippers. I see why the Trailblazers are favorites at home, but the Grizzlies are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as a road underdog and I think they’ve been the better team so far. The Trailblazers are still leaking points on the defensive end and I think the Grizzlies will be good enough to take advantage here.
